Beware Of Folktales
By
Holy Moses
Introduction
In the bible, Genesis chapter 3 contains the narration
of how the Satan deceived Adam and Eve, and how God pronounced curses, as
punishments, on them. The same chapter is reproduced here, with clear
evidences, which prove that the contents of the chapter were fabrications, just
like so many folktales are forged to teach children wisdom.
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the
field which Lord had made.
The serpent was the not the wisest animal. The wisest animal is the
dove. The reason is that the serpent is wise and evil. But, the dove is wise
and innocent. Hence, the children of God are advised to be as wise as a serpent
and as innocent as a dove.
And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You
shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"
And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the
trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the
garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you
die.'"
Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For
God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will
be like God, knowing good and evil."
Adam and eve were already created in the shape and nature of God. They
were like God and as God. Therefore, the Devil did not need to say to them that
they shall become like God.
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was
pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its
fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were
naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
After God created Adam and Eve, they were not naked, because God clothed
in white sparkling garments, just like the Angels in heaven.
Eating the forbidden fruit was not sexual intercourse,
as many people do interpret.
The evidence is that there is the tree of life, in
heaven.
And today, Adam and Eve are in heaven eating from the
tree of life.
God would not command Adam and Eve to increase and
multiply, and then turn round to accuse them of sex.
The book of Revelation has this to say about the tree
of life:
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear
as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the
river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its
fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:1-2
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the
cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the
Lord God among the trees of the garden.
They did not hid themselves, and they could not have hidden themselves,
because God is omnipresent. This is confirmed by the word of God, which says,
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee
from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You
are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning, And
dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall
lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on
me," Even the night shall be light about me;
Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light
are both alike to You. Psalms 139:1-12
Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are
you?"
So he said, "I heard Your voice in the
garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."
And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from
the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?"
Then the man said, "The woman whom You
gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
And the Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The
woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
God is omnipresent and omniscient that He does not
need to ask Adam where are you? Therefore, Adam does
not need to hide himself.
Besides, Adam was not naked, because God clothed them
with sparkling white garment. How do you think that the God who said that people
must not come into His temple or holy place keep two innocent people naked?
The moment Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, God
knew. So, God does not need to ask them for report and confirmation.
So the Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every
beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the
days of your life.
God did not curse the serpent.
The snake was created without hands and legs. So, how come
God is cursing it to walk without legs, when the animal has no legs in the
first place.
The snake does not eat sands. Have you ever seen a
snake eating sands?Snakes
eat food, fruits, animals and vegetables.
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And
between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise
His heel."
God does not put enmity between one thing and another.
Doing so would mean that God is the cause of sin, which is not true, because
God looked at all that He had created and found them to be good; very good,
indeed.
Enmity between man and animals is the work of the
devil. Before the Devil came into the Garden of Eden, Adam, Eve and the animals
were living in peace.
To the woman He said: "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your
conception; In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you."
God does not multiply pains for the women during
pregnancy. He dioes not multiply pains during labour
and child delivery.
Women suffer labour during child delivery, because the
do not eat enough of the fruits and vegetables that they should eat during
pregnancy.
Adam desired a companion, before God created Eve.
Likewise, Eve desires and needs a man, for the two to
be good companions. Today, the man desires a woman, just as a woman desires a
man, for companionship, for mutual help and for procreation.
God does not need to give Eve punishment, by making
Adam head over Eve, because God has already done so by making Adam in-charge of
the garden and by making Eve to be a helper.
Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife,
and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not
eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In
toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.
Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the
ground, For out of it you were taken; "
1.
God
did not curse the ground.
2.
The
ground remains a living thing. The ground would be a dead heap by now, if God
actually cursed it.
3.
You
remember the tree that Jesus cursed. The tree withered within one day and was dead,
barren and useless. If God had cursed the ground, the ground would have become
a mass of useless heap, with no benefit to humanity.
4.
Since
the creation of the world, all available evidences show that the ground was
never at a time cursed by God.
5.
The
ground is the best and greatest industry in the world. It produces so many
types of vegetables, roots and herbs that are of immense benefit to humanity.
6.
By
agriculture, the ground makes our farm crops to grow and bear fruits.
7.
The
ground produces all kinds of solid minerals for use by humanity.
8.
The
ground keeps our houses, offices and workplaces in their various shapes and
locations.
9.
Different
types of gasses are extracted from the ground, for various uses, including
making drugs for the health and longevity of humanity.
10.
Rocks
are available from the ground for building our houses, structures and
establishments.
11.
The
ground replenishes itself, because if you harvest stones from the ground, by
the time you come back next year, discover that the ground has produced more
stones, and as other solid minerals.
12.
God
stepped on the ground: on Mount Sinai, in Israel and at DivineBase Ministry. If
the land were cursed, God would not have touched His feet on the ground.
13.
We
carry all kinds of foodstuffs and fruits, as harvest thanksgiving, to the house
of God. If the ground were cursed, God will not accept such offerings.
For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.
Man is not dust.
Man was never created from the dust.
It is spiritually blind, ignorant and lazy religious leaders
that teach that man is a dust.
The flesh is from the earth. Without it, man shall not
be able to live, stay and interact in the world of matter.
But, man is a spirit, and spirit is not flesh.
Man wears the flesh, body, as a dress, for the body
was made to be used here on earth as an earthsuit.
And Adam called his wife's name
Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed
them.
How can the writer say that Adam called his wife’s
name as Eve, because she was the mother of all living?
Eve was never the mother of all living. Eve was not
the mother of the Angels and Saints in heaven. She was not the mother of such
living things as animals, plants or others.
Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil.
God would not have said that man has become like one
of the spirit beings, because God made man like God and as God.
And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and
eat, and live forever" —
therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the
ground from which he was taken.
Tilling the ground is not neither a curse nor a
punishment.
Work was given to humanity, to energize and exercise
the body.
So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the
Garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to
the tree of life.
One angel is called a cherub, while a group of angel
cherubs is called cherubim.
